It is important to keep your crystal clean and to preserve the transparency and brilliant finish of your Dublin Crystal.  The following should be observed when cleaning crystal

• Crystal should be at room temperature prior to cleaning i.e. it should not be freezing cold or hot.
• Remove all jewelry such as wedding rings.
• Use a very mild soap or detergent.
• Use a rubber mat and faucet guard to prevent chipping.
• Wash in warm water and use a soft cloth or sponge.  Rinse with warm clean water.
• Dry your Dublin Crystal by wiping gently with a soft lint free cloth to prevent water spotting.

Dublin Crystal do not recommend the use of dishwashers to clean your crystal but if you do use a dishwasher to clean your crystal then use the lowest temperature setting and the shortest cycle.  Load carefully so no piece of crystal is touching another piece.  Allow to air dry.

When drying stemware, do not wipe the bowl while turning the stem in the opposite direction as this may cause the stem to snap.

Take particular care when drying gold or platinum bonded products.  Wait until the crystal has cooled before wiping dry.
